Stalwart wine bar BottleRock quietly closed Friday after a nearly decade-long run in South Park.
Known for its selections of wine, craft beers and eclectic eats, BottleRock first debuted in Culver City in 2006 (shuttering in late 2015) before expanding to Downtown LA in 2009. While nothing has been made official as of Monday morning, there’s chatter of a wine and cheese concept slated to take over the lease from former BottleRock owners and brothers Isaac & Fred Hakim. Given its location on a busy intersection near LA Live with growing foot traffic, there’s plenty of reason to remain optimistic for whatever business pops up next in the space.
DTLAer reached out to BottleRock for comment on the closure, but so far hasn’t heard back.
