Constantly awash with activity, Grand Central Market will soon welcome a fried chicken stall to Broadway as the build-out of the incoming restaurant recently got underway. Housed just beyond Clark Street Bread and parallel to Valerie Confections Bakery & Cafe, the latest addition to Downtown LA’s famed food hall will mark its first food-focused arrival of 2018 and the most recent since Adam Fleischman’s PBJ.LA debuted last summer. Another food establishment comes at the price of seating, but perhaps this will force more patrons to GCM’s underdeveloped lower level where tables and chairs are readily available. Details remain scarce about the ownership behind the fried chicken spot as DTLAer continues to hound the usual suspects for more intel, but we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
