Nearly a year and a half after DTLA Rising’s Brigham Yen first broke the news of its impending arrival, Downtown LA’s JINYA Ramen Bar will finally fire up the kitchen starting in mid-April on Wilshire. Started in Tokyo in 2000, the newest location will mark the franchise’s sixth restaurant in the Greater Los Angeles area and 32nd across the United States and Canada. Beyond its signature dish, look for JINYA, which will also house a sake bar, to offer patrons a series of different menu options including rice bowls, mini tacos, salads, small plates, among others. There’s no word yet on hours, but like its sister restaurants throughout LA, expect JINYA to feature a happy hour and serve lunch & dinner seven days a week.
