Subterranean Wine Bar Calls It Quits In South Park Amidst Nearby Construction

D’Vine Lounge Bar, formerly housed beneath the O Hotel on Flower, has closed indefinitely as of late 2017 after a three year run serving up wine and small bites in South Park. DTLAer reached out to the O Hotel for comment and was told that the shutdown was in part due to the ongoing renovations at the Ritz Milner Hotel located next door, but may return in some form in the future. The underground wine bar focused heavily on reds, whites, and roses both by the bottle and glass along with charcuterie boards and platters of raw oysters in what was a casual and inviting atmosphere. As for the other eating and drinking establishments within the O hotel, BKLA, a full bar and restaurant, remains operational on the street level while dance club Honeycut continues to draw lines just around the bend from the space D’Vine previously occupied.
