The 10 Hottest Happy Hours In Downtown LA, March 2018

There are countless happy hour options in Downtown LA, perhaps none worthy of Eater LA’s list, but plenty good enough to garner both your time and money. From the Arts District to South Park, here’s a snapshot of where you should be eating & drinking at a reduced price in DTLA:

Rome With A View and the Spritz are two of the standouts on barcito’s aperitivo hour menu. Running from 4 – 7 p.m. weekdays and 5 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, each drink order comes with an Argentine-inspired snack trio for a total of $9.

Located just down the street from Grand Central Market, this charming hole-in-the-wall doesn’t serve liquor, but certainly makes up for it with strong beer offerings. Happy hour takes place from 4 – 7 p.m. daily with $1 discounts on all drafts and $2 off house wines and micheladas.

Everson Royce Bar

One of the best places to grab a drink and a quick bite in the entire city becomes budget-friendly from the hours of 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Think $8 cocktails and wine along with Matt Molina’s famous burger and fries for $10. Free chips and salsa too.

Tuck Hotel Lobby Bar

Skip that Cajun spot just down the street and head to Tuck Hotel Lobby Bar where every single cocktail on the menu is $6 Wednesday through Sunday 3 – 7 p.m. Food options include a series of small plates ranging from a brisket spring roll to ricotta dip all priced at $6 each.

Harbor House

Hidden inside the lobby of an office building overlooking the 110, Harbor House is one of DTLA’s most unassuming spots for a sneaky good happy hour. The move here is hitting the raw bar where oysters & clams may be had for around a buck each and specialty cocktails go for $6 weekdays from 4 – 6 p.m.

Hamachi crudo and bone marrow are just two of several worthy $10 food options on Redbird’s happy hour menu that’s available weekdays from 5 – 7 p.m. Drink specials include a series of $8 cocktails and $10 wine by the glass.

LiOrient Asian Bar & Restaurant

A relative newcomer to the Downtown LA eating and drinking scene, U.S. Bank Tower’s LiOrient features two weekday happy hours: 3 – 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. until midnight. Think a healthy offering of appetizers for around $8 and any bottle of beer for just $5.

Back in business after construction sidelined the Mexican mezcal bar for a few months, Mezcalero offers happy hour from 3 – 7 p.m. weekdays where a house margarita (mezcal or tequila) will set you back $5. Draft beer is also available for $3.50 and the tacos, priced at $3 a piece on Tuesdays, are definitely worth checking out.

Las Perlas

Happy hour runs daily until 8 p.m. at this mezcal and beer bar with a $5 margarita and $5 paloma among the highlights. The food here shouldn’t be missed either – two tacos for $6 and fresh chips & salsa for $4 are the stars.

107 E. 6th St. | Los Angeles, CA 90014

Le Petit Paris

Dollar oysters and escargot ($9) are king on Le Petit Paris’s happy hour menu that takes place weekdays from 4:30 – 7 p.m. Cocktails go for $9 and the bottomless rose for $18 is one of the best deals in town.
